Tripadvisor performs checks on our guide greeted us very enthusiastically at our resort and picked us up for a really cool drive in the US jeeps that date all the way back to 1965 still working real well!. First stop was the pepper farm which we got to see different fruit trees and try their local pepper. Got to also try some of their fruits that were in season rambutans. Next up, brought us to see the coastline that demarcates vietnam frm cambodia 4KM swim across if anyone’s keen. Lastly went to starfish beach, sadlyno starfishes as it was the wrong season. Best season to visit would be December to March. Thats when water is the clearest and cleanest and you would be able to see starfishes in the water. Had a really good seafood lunch think crab meat fried rice, prawns cooked with crispy garlic and oil and scallops with their spring onions, oil and fish sauce with chilli. Ended the tour with visiting one of the local fish sauce farms. Thong was also very lovely, buying us an entire bag of rambutans that were in season. Tripadvisor performs checks on and my husband had a wonderful time, our guide was knowledgable and friendly, he was always ready to answer any questions we had about the sea life and took extra time to make sure we were both boat trip was a lot of fun and the guide ensured that we avoided areas that would compromise our safety due to the weather of this he even apologised, even though we knew we had booked our trip during the raining season in Vietnam, it was completely our decision to go in these weather conditions and our guide still made sure it was fun and safe the entire time!We will definitely book with Onbird again, we plan on coming back in January when the rain has stopped. He is amazing if you are going solo because he can just take you on his motorbike but he's great with couples you want to go trekking and see panoramic views of Phu Quoc, he is your guy!! He has a relaxed itinerary and a deep knowledge of the island - along with funny anecdotes from his past travels. He also a deep love for Vietnam and can advise you on where to go next. Our guide picked us from our hotel, and spoke fantastic English as well as speaking decent Spanish to my partner!. From the hotel, we drove to the south of Phu Quoc and boarded the cable cars for the island. Our guide Mr T very kindly minded our belongings while we explored the island, and made us feel like we were able to do whatever we wanted which was very the water park, we went to the beach where the guide took us out on a speedboat. Again, we were very much left to decide what we wanted to do, so we did a combination of snorkelling where our guide took us to some of the best spots, and showed where we'd see the most wildlife in those spots! and then took us to a more secluded beach afterwards for us to swim further. Overall, this was a great experience. The guide was fantastic and a great combination of letting us decide what to do, while also giving us options and explaining where we were in great detail. One word of advice...take some sunscreen or you might get burnt! We stayed in a resort in the northern part of the island, and our driver kindly drove us to the resort. Tripadvisor performs checks on the moment of booking the tour, Tung was quick to confirm and also answer a few questions we had as we were keen to also visit a bee farm which he was able to easily accommodate and include in our itinerary without removing anything that was on the original was very quick to communicate with us leading up to the day. He was on time to pick us up from our hotel on the car was very comfortable, clean and extremely good air conditioning for those that need to cool down from the humidity of being out and about and he had plenty of bottles of water for us for the day. As the weather was on and off with the rain, he also had an umbrella and also ponchos readily is a wealth of knowledge and we learnt so much about each of the locations we visited. Tripadvisor performs checks on had a brilliant experience with CJ and Windy on the half day snorkelling trip. Everything was prompt and explained clearly and they did everything with a high level of professionalism. I have visited lots of snorkelling tours and this by far the best run. I loved how they taught beginners how to use the snorkel properly,. They then took us to spots that were teeming with healthy corals and fish. What I enjoyed most was how CJ and Windy guided us. Often when snorkelling you can find yourself wondering off into places where you're unsure if you should be there or not. Being guided meant I could concentrate on watching the was really grateful that Windy took the time to teach me some free-diving skills. Tripadvisor performs checks on found and booked this tour from Regent. This is a tour to know Phu Quoc's nature and local culture with a vintage jeep and a great guide. We saw an organic pepper farm first time, went to star fish beach to relax,experienced adventurous ride into national park with short walk to understand trees and flowers. Our guide, Dung was fantastic, and knowleadeable. He gave us deep info of history, nature, culture of Phu Quoc. He bought us fresh aoconut and juices. All selections of places were the places you can reach because of the tour. Highly recommended! Also, Dung is an excellent photographer.
